About FinKraft Coaching:

FinKraft, why the name? Roger Aspholm the founder and owner, original from Finland and nick named "the FlyingFin" , his daughter's name is Finley, say no more!! Kraft is a Scandinavian word for Strength or Power in the athletic world and reflects the Nordic toughness that is often required in endurance sports.
Endurance sports are extremely hard both physically, mentally and emotionally. Training and Racing places tremendous amount of stress on all these systems. If all the training and racing is not balanced with the proper recovery (sleep, rest and therapy) and nutrition, the athletes will never reach their maximum potential!

With 30 years experience of racing at a high level in different sports Roger will tailor fit a training program that will suit your lifestyle and you will still reach your reasonable goals.
As Roger puts it; "you have to get the big picture to succeed" . Training and particularly racing is not just physical fitness, there is a lot more to it.

First, it is a lifestyle! You have to eat, breath and sleep your sport to be able to separate yourself from the rest.

Second, no matter what happens, you have to always think positive, a happy and a healthy athlete always go further. "The forward motion is key."

Third, always believe in yourself and people that support you, any doubt will make you loose your confidence and your are beaten before the start!

Key ingredients in endurance sports are being able to suffer ("take the pain") and having confidence in your decisions.

As you starting to realize our coaching program is not focused on just one thing, like power, fitness or a specific training method. We will help you put the whole puzzle together and learn how to push yourself to the maximum in a good way.

We will teach you how to make yourself a better athlete and go beyond what you thought was possible, by using proven techniques and training methods, but always combined with up to date philosophies and technologies and always pay attention to every aspect of your life as an athlete. As soon as there is a missing peace in the puzzle your performance will be affected. It is our job to make sure you are "keeping it together".

Commitment and consistency is what we strive for in our relationship both ways.
Training and racing is like a marriage, there are good days and then there will be bad days.
Once you get to know yourself as an athlete, that is when you get stronger!
