Wheels are everywhere!

Our wheels are traveling constantly between our bike shop affiliates. We recommend making reservations as early as possible so we can schedule on time delivery to the bike shop in your area. If you are within 7 days of your preferred reservation date you may be subject to express shipping requirements that the shopping cart may not show. We will notify you ASAP if this is the case.

 

Bike Shop Affiliate Ship Pricing

All ground shipping prices are integrated into a standard order.

 

If you are within 7 days of your requested pick-up date express charges may apply that may not appear in your online order. For the most accurate quote, please visit FedEx Rates & Transit Times. The parameters to use are the following:

Origin Zip: 19530

Destination Zip: Enter the bike shop affiliate zip code.

Number of packages: Each wheel is shipping individually. If you are getting a wheelset, mark "2" for the number of packages.

Are packages identical?: Yes

Weight: 15lbs/box

Shipping to a Residence: No

Box Dimensions: 28"x6"x28"

Declared value: min $500

 

Other parameters are subject to specific rental criteria.

 

Variable rates are attributed to rural zones, speed of shipments and value of contents.

 

Timing

The map to the left shows the number of days it will take to reach your location with Ground Services. This map is an estimate only. Please take this into consideration when requesting a wheelset with a delivery date within 7 days of your order.

 

All shipments will arrive at a Bike Shop Affiliate.

Our shopping cart allows you to select one of our existing shops, or suggest a new one upon check out. We ship to shops to make sure the equipment is in proper working order before you race on it.

 

Return Shipping is included.

RaceWheelRental.com and your bike shop will handle the shipping requirements for the return of the wheels.

 

 

Please do the following to ensure the wheel is not damaged. Excessive Damage Waivers do not cover damage while in transit:
-Use the padded wheelbags provided.
-Secure the skewer in the padded wheelbag skewer pouches so it does not impact the wheel while in transit.
-Keep the tire inflated while in transit. It acts like a rim protector!
-If you rented a disc wheel, please remember to include your disc chuck inflator. Lost disc chucks are $25.

 

If you still have your wheel manifest waiver sign it before you return the wheel! Unfortunately if a wheel comes back damaged and you did not sign the waiver the shipping companies will not honor our damage claims and you will be held liable. All returns should be done through a Bike Shop Affiliate.

You will only see a subsequent billing from "Echappe Equipment" (it's our LLC) if you returned damaged equipment that exceeds our "Excessive Damage Waiver" terms. When you check the "Acknowledgement of Risks" as well as the "Security Deposit" acknowledgements, you agree to these terms.

 

Picking Up at a Bike Shop Affiliate:

1. Inspect the wheel(s) for damage during shipping.
   
2. Sign the release form at the bottom of your wheel manifest.

Returning at a Bike Shop Affiliate:

1. Inspect the wheels for damage.
   
2. Sign the waiver at the bottom of the wheel manifest.

Packing Materials

RaceWheelRental.com provides adequate packaging for all shipping. Wheelsets are expected to be packaged correctly, utilizing the provided materials given. If wheels are returned without proper packaging and damage occurs, you are responsible for any damage incurred. FedEx is not responsible for inappropriate packaging, nor are we. This also falls inline with our Acknowledgement of Risks document as well as the optional Excessive Damage Agreement.
